Brian has sent in more photos of wildflowers with the following note:-
"Sloe (Blackthorn) is fully out so maybe there will be some Sloe gin later in the
year to either celebrate or drown our sorrows!!."

Thank you, Brian. The thought of that sloe gin is incentive enough to boost our determination.
My mother in law always used to say that bad weather could return at any point for a Blackthorn Winter until it had stopped flowering!
